OK so this week- Monday we had P day and we ended up helping a member move some furniture that was fun. So we got permission to do our shopping on Tuesday- i got my Winter Boots finally, they are soooooo nice. Wednesday we ended up in Toronto for our Christmas Zone Conference. It was fantastic- we talked about how we each can find someone to baptize in each city of Ontario, and that we can all baptize. That’s our purpose- to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the holy ghost, and enduring to the end! We got back late- a 40 minute drive ended up being 2 hours long because of traffic- guess that’s what happens when you live in a big city. Thursday we were all over the place with a few lessons and weekly planning. Friday we started our Christmas plans- we got bunch of cooking supplies and elder Gutierrez made a ton- like 70- cookies for us to deliver to members.we also wrote a ton of Christmas/thank you notes to a bunch of them for their love, support, and service. Then we went about delivering them! It was a crazy 2 days. Then we hit Christmas! One of the best days on the mission. So it was on Sunday so we went to Church, and tons of people came! A bunch i didn’t even know. so cool. Glad people remembered Christ on Christmas. WE ended up with sooooo much food and small gifts (like socks and shampoo) we are running out of space on our counters! Hilarious, we are too blessed. We even ended up with a full Frozen pizza. Let me see oh yeah! Got to SKYPE MY FAMILY! So wonderful to see their faces and hear them laugh and smile and just be their with them. Miss them a lot- cried when i had to hang up on them- but the Lord needs me here to help someone else out right now. Oh then 2 full dinners after. One of my friends (who shall remain nameless) said good luck to not getting fat during the holidays! Glad to report that i am still under 160 lbs. SO yes! Boxing day yesterday- more stores closed then on Christmas, but the mall was packed- no parking at all. Also taught the story of the 2000 stripling warriors, but they didnt have a risk board but we used a clue board instead. it was great. Well, Happy New year! Last entry form 2016, it well be 2017 next! Love you all
