We can’t find… BUT THE LORD CAN!!!!

So as you can probably guess all of the hard work we have put in, we have found no one.  But the Lord does reward hard work in his own time, (see preach my Gospel section on Patience in Chapter 6). So we tried everything and anything we could to find the last three weeks.  We put in a solid effort too, every day we tried to bring at least one person closer to christ.  How successful we are- not too much most of the time, but at least we are drawing closer to god ourselves.  But ill rap it up this way. Saturday we are tired but we are inspired to go to Mcdonalds for lunch – take one step out of a our car and a we say hi to a lady and she is like “what church are you guys with?” and she is like “can you visit me sometime?” oh course we can!!!!1 So we get her number and name and will be calling her wednesday!!!!! her name is Linda.  Will let you know how that turns out.  The next day is fast sunday and i had fasted that we could find more people to teach so we could help them come closer to our Father in heave, in additon to all the work we do.  we are about to go to our dinner appointment and we get a call- no joke- from a Ms DIVA according to the phone- someone named jackie talks to us and says here cousin is having a really hard time and lots of challenges and just feels lost.  She says she thought about us immediatly, so she called us! We still dont know how she has our number- she isnt a member or someone we have tried to contact.  But still Then we are like ok we will call him and set up a time to meet! Turns out he is right there and we talk to him on the phone.  he is in need of some serious spiritual helpe, so we are seeing him tommorrow! basiaclly the Lord gave us two new investigators and we were ready to answer the call! we thanked him sooooooo much for blessing us. we have been working super hard, plus we have been visiting a lot of members to talk about missionary work- nothing yet, but it has been great.  that was basically the week. Gotta go, but loves!!!!

Scripture: D & C 84:80-85

80 And any man that shall go and preach this gospel of the kingdom, and fail not to continue faithful in all things, shall not be weary in mind, neither darkened, neither in body, limb, nor joint; and a hair of his head shall not fall to the ground unnoticed. And they shall not go hungry, neither athirst.

81 Therefore, take ye no thought for the morrow, for what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, or wherewithal ye shall be clothed.

82 For, consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin; and the kingdoms of the world, in all their glory, are not arrayed like one of these.

83 For your Father, who is in heaven, knoweth that you have need of all these things.

84 Therefore, let the morrow take thought for the things of itself.

85 Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man.
