so this week was a rough one. We were not able to meet with either of our investigators this week, and we were able to only meet with two less active men who are both really nice but will take time with them. The rest of the time was spent trying to find people. we tried everything- tracting, contacting, former, potentials- and Monday through Saturday nothing happened. Literally we tried at least 20 names of people Saturday afternoon. And no one seemed interested in the slightest or answered their doors or phones. I hit the wall Saturday night and could not take any more. But Jesus Christ never gave up- and he suffered a lot worse for us. so we figured we had at least tried and could say there was nothing more we could do. So Sunday comes- turns out a LA man turned up that we had tried to visit the day before, and a former we haven visited felt prompted to go to church! He speaks french too, and Elder Perry is almost fluent! that was a blessing. Then we go out- we have about 2 hours on Sunday afternoon, and the first house we try a potential- she wasn’t there but a car pulls up and a nice guy, who was her son that actually doesn’t live there but was just getting something real quick- we ended up talking to him and giving him a Book of Mormon! he isn’t interested in meeting, but still the Lord put us in the right place at the right time! 5 minutes before or after and he would not have been there. The rest of the people we talked to that afternoon were super nice- but not interested, but it was ok- i was so grateful to the lord that he had blessed our hard work! this week we are going to try and focus on getting to know and helpe members with their missionary work and just simply hitting the pavement. Well, thats this week in a nutshell. happy Birthday last week to my sister isabella. she turned 13!
Scripture: Moroni 7:33, this helped me out this week when i hit the wall and felt like i couldn’t go on.
