So as you can guess by the title my time here in Kitchener Waterloo has ended! i am being transferred off to a place called Napanee with an Elder Strong, who is a district leader so that means i get to go on lots of exchanges- I’m excited. Elder Perry will stay here for now- we have worked very hard at getting everything cleaned up and organized so that the work is easy to keep track of and do. We have built up good relationships with the members, and tried to find. So i am satisfied with my effort here. Unfortunately we were unable to help someone enter the waters of baptisms, but i feel like we were able to do a lot of good invite others to come unto Christ otherwise. My new area i am excited to see. This week big things that happened- we helped someone move a ton of boxes- the are less active and needed a lot of help, we were able to help a little bit. we baked and delivered a bunch of peanut butter cookies to people we have been working with- they seemed to really like it. Trying something different from simply tracting and talking to people on the streets. which we have done. Elder Perry Attempted the Godfather last Monday- unfortunately he didn’t quite finish, he was sick to his stomach most of the week after that. We visited someone in the hospital- a less active- that had been in a coma. I always feel the spirit when i go to the hospital, people are always so caring and worried about life- i was so grateful for the plan of salvation and how i know we can be with our families together forever. Elder Perry got a little sick with the fever/chills this week as well, so i spent some extra time reading. this week i have been studying the address of King Benjamin to his subjects in Mosiah. I love him- so simple, straightforward. Mosiah Chapters 2-6 i believe. The Plan of Salvation is laid out. In sacrament meeting there was a baby blessing, so there were a lot of people there. Felt good to have a full chapel. Once again made me truely appreciate life- someday i will get the opportunity to bless my own baby child. Well, i am off to a new area. Talk to you all next week. Loves!
Scripture- Mosiah Chapters 2-6, in the Book of Mormon, King Benjamin’s address to his people before he dies. I know all that he said is true. Please read it.
