Even with our limited ablilty to go out, these missionaries were blessed with success! pday was good, we had dinner with our recent convert and then had to do a survey for missionary stuff. Thursday we attempted to go contacting- and was chased inside to our car by the wind.  visited 2 returning members, they are doing well, did most of our weekly planning, had dinner at a members. after we taught the 8 year old named Shirley about repentance, since she is getting ready to be baptized soon! Friday we had a stelar district meeting- the zone leaders told us about smart phones! then we drove about 40 minutes out to deliver a bible- and the indiviual, a very nice lady, let us share the restoration lesson and give her a Book of Mormon! she said she would read it! had dinner at the allans, who feed us every week, had correlation with our ward mision leader. Saturday we helped out a recent convert- she had been a member alsmost a year- out a bit, tired to figure out if oru car has a block heater plug in it, visited some lessa ctives- one guy said we could come back! we visited the next day, very  nice! some potential for seeing him again! Sunday was church, fast and testimony meeting. the new cirriculum has started, that will be good to see how that goes! visited a member, shared the restoration video with him. visited someone in our building, older lady, thanksed us for the visit! oh and the 3rd miracle this week was that we had a member who has been les active for a while came and bore ther testimony and is going to start on coming back! and we got another media referal from someone that wants missioanry visits! hope all is well, we are doign well- cold, but well!

Snow way- and COLD!!!!!!!!!

so let me see where to begin. i dont even know. last Monday us two elders attempted to buy some drapes for our apartment- yeah we have absolutely no idea what we are doing. gonna ask for some help from the sisters in the ward.  anyways, other then that, we are almost done on cleaning out our apartment and organizing papers for the transition to everything online! Tuesday we drove to mattawa and made lunch fro a member, she was soo happy and grateful- it was a nice change she said. you could say we #Lighttheworld by makign members food! we also went caroling to lessa ctives and some friends of members on monday and tuesday night.  that was exellent.  We have started the oraganize of the ward list, it is goign well.  thursday i went on exchanges with elder lee- he is from korea and was also born in don valley west, jsut like me! we had some lessons, did a bible study class, and then also knocked some doors. we contact a former investigator from 2 years ago and they gave us a phone number and said to call them this week! Friday was an adventure. most of the zone, minus bracebridge sisters and the sault ste marie elders were to be in north bay for 2 district meetins so president could do interviews with us! problem- we had a blizzard. th sudbury elders made it on time. the temiskaming, valdor, rouyn, and timmons elders were supposed to make it in by 11- due to snow and roa closurea and detours, they arrived at about 2:30 in the afternoon. and it kept on snowing! we were at the chapel all day fighting the snow/interviews/studies. we had a dinner appointment after and a teachign appoitment, but 3 sets fo elders stayed the night with us in north bay- it was a ton of fun but all te floor space in the main room was taken. they all made it back the next day. but it didnt stop snowing- not as bad- for the next few days. through sunday.  Saturday during dinner we had someone text us and wanted us to deliver a bible to him. we did that night, and he is open to us sharing our message so we got a new investigator! and all we did was deliver a bible, the lord truely blessed us.  sunday was good we had a linger longer after church. people brought food and we hung out together. i felt a littl sick at cherch, so i took a small nap and i was ok after.  anyways, that was the highlights fo the week. sorry again for my typing skills. anyways, merry christmas and happy holidays, love to all and remember toe #Lighttheworld.

“Is it true,” the tourist asked, “that an alligator won’t attack you if you carry a flashlight?”

“That depends,” replied the guide, “on how fast you carry the flashlight.”

Driving back from Vermont, I stopped at a vegetable stand. It was deserted except for a sleeping German shepherd.

I stepped over the dog, helped myself to some corn, then opened the cash box to pay.

Taped to the inside of the lid was this note: “The dog can count.”

Professor: “Why do pimples make horrible prisoners?”

Student: “Because they keep breaking out!”

A family of skunks went for their morning walk. They came to a fork in the road.

The daddy skunk said, “My instinct tells me to take the left fork.”

The momma skunk said, “My instinct tells me to take the right fork.”

The baby skunk pondered a moment and said, “My end stinks too but I still don’t know which road to take!”

Exchanges back. District meeting on friday went crazy- the computers we are allowed to use kicke us off while in the midst of the meeting, so i was upset about that a lot. the meeting was supposed to be on following the spirit.  we alsowe supposed to helpa member set up christ,as on saturday, then he had a really dizzy spell and fell to the ground and hit his head. so we followed his wife to the hospital and spent some time there.  might be his pacemaker we aer still undsure, but he is fine. had to get stitches. then we hauled firewood for 2 hours oin staurday as weel.  churh was good, fast and testimony meeting. i taught gospel principles on th spiriti world. ward council was great. took the sacramane tiwht the young men t brother allan who had hit his head, he loved the visit! hospitals look very boring.  today- we will be shpooing and doing christmas stuff. this week we will be crazy busy. anyways, love y’all!
